James and I have been toying with the idea of another free photo session contest for a while now. We’ve finally decided that we want to give away a free photo session to couples. Since becoming parents we have really noticed a drastic difference in the amount of pictures we have of just the two of us. Looking through our photos we have maybe a handful of us. The sad news is we know that we are not the only ones lacking in the “couple pictures” area.
Sooo, we are giving away a free photo session for couples! This can be an engagement shoot or anniversary shoot. Whoever wins the giveaway wins a one-hour photo shoot with 15 digital images on a CD and a 5×7 print (gotta have a print for your nightstand or desk, right?).
CONTEST DETAILS:
This contest is available for anyone who is in the Rexburg area. The session needs to be scheduled for the month of October to qualify. You can be engaged or married. If you know of a couple who could really benefit from a free photo session we do welcome nominations.
HOW TO ENTER:
1. We want to hear your story! Tell us, in 300 words or less, how the two of you met or how he proposed. It also wouldn’t hurt to include why you want the free photo shoot and a picture of the two of you. Email us directly at mr.rognon@rognonphotography.com and use the subject line “free photoshoot” and your names (i.e.-free photoshoot: James and Michelle). This will help us keep track of contestants so you are included in the giveaway.
Then!
2. Become a fan of Rognon Photography on facebook
3. Once your become a fan (or if you are already a fan) share our page on facebook by clicking the “suggest to friends” link (top left hand side) and share it with friends on facebook.
4. Leave a comment on our facebook page telling us if you joined facebook and shared our page with friends.
That’s it! It’s that simple!
CONTEST DEADLINE:
The submission period ends on Sunday October 10th at 12:00 am (midnight). Any emails received after that are no longer valid. From there we will compile the contestants names in a hat and randomly choose 5-10 names (depending on the number of contestants). Those contestants, and their stories, will be posted on the blog and on Facebook for the world to see on Tuesday, October 12th.
At that point the giveaway will be in the hands of the bloggers! Readers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite couple either by “liking” the couple on the facebook post, commenting on the blog post, or by emailing us (mr.rognon@rognonphotography.com with the couple’s name as the subject heading). The contestants with the most votes by Saturday October 16th at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) wins!

EXTRA CHANCES FOR YOUR NAME TO BE PICKED!
If you want extra entries (i.e.- your name put in the hat more than once for extra chances to be picked) here are some other things you can do.
1. Post a link to our site on your blog about the contest (be sure that it is an active link, not just text)
2. Add us as a favorite
3. Add us to your blog roll (You get 2 extra entries with this one!)
(Don’t forget to let us know somewhere in your email how many entries you have (ie: We get our name put in four times because I did facebook, posted a blog about the contest with your site link here (add blog link), added you as a favorite, and added you to our blog roll!)
