It’s been 7-months since I went on maternity leave. While we’ve still stayed plenty busy with photography, I haven’t officially come back and posted on here that we are “back-in-business”. I am happy to say that after 2-moves, adjusting to a new babe in the home, and getting back in the swing of things, we are finally in our own place and are happy to get back into our photography business.
So: We are now booking photography portrait sessions in Salt Lake and Utah County, and weddings in UT, ID, OR, and CA for 2012. If you are interested in getting your pictures taken, please contact us.
I thought I’d start off my “welcome back” post with pictures of what started our leave-of-absence in the first place: Max. While James isn’t currently offering birth photography sessions to his clientele (like this amazing photographer), I thought I would share some of Max’s birth photos. (If you get squeamish about birth – don’t worry. This is G-Rated. Well, maybe PG. Max is a baby boy, after all.)
I love that photography can really capture the true emotion of the moment: The excitement that we were (finally) in labor, the first special seconds after our son was born, and the loving moments we had as parents to get to know our brand-new baby boy. Welcome to the world, little guy. We sure can’t imagine our lives with out you.
