My cousin Andrew and his wife Cortney had their first boy! And what a sweet little guy. He didn’t want to be asleep during the shoot, but after some time we were able to fit in a few pictures of the new babe. Cortney and Andrew live in Idaho and were down for a nephew’s wedding, so I was so excited that we got to see them and meet Thomas. Congrats guys. He is gorgeous.

If you have been wondering why we have been MIA, we have actually been cuddling up to this cute little guy. Our son Max arrived early Saturday morning, and we are soaking in as much baby time (and sleep) as we can. We are also officially leaving Idaho behind now that he is here and will be setting up roots in Utah (Salt Lake City – Provo area). We are going to miss all our friends and clients here in Idaho, but are excited to move on to new things. Wish us luck! We will let everyone know when we are scheduling sessions again. Thanks.

I went to high school with Jayne’s daddy Tony and it was so fun to see his family and take pictures of he and his wife Audra’s youngest girl. I love her eyes, smile, and cheeks. Baby Rhys was only a week old when he came to see us. He was such a sweet baby, and I loved that we were able to put him in so many different fun, cute poses. He also loved giving us some cute smiles that melt my heart. Such a sweet boy, and during the few hours he was with us I could see his personality showing through. He would cry for a second or two when we would move him, and then once his needs were met (we’d stop moving him, he’d get warm) he’d instantly fall back asleep. Here are a few pictures of this handsome little dude.

This little girl was a week old when she came to us, and was such a sweet girl the entire time. She let us put her in whatever position we wanted, and she was a real trooper when it came to moving her around. I’m sure I annoyed her mom Bianca with how often I talked about how beautiful Giana’s full head of hair was, but when you are a mom of relatively looking bald babies it is just amazing to see this sweet babies come out with such thick, beautiful hair! Anyways, here are some shots of sweet little Giana from our photo shoot. Enjoy.

This little guy was alert, happy, and such a handsome guy for his shoot! I’m not posting a lot, but I wanted to put up a picture or two for his mom and dad to see. He loved chewing on his hands, has the cutest smile imaginable and was such a fun guy to shoot!

Mitchel wanted so bad to be awake for his session, but his mom was able to get him to snooze for some great shots. Wide awake or asleep, this little guy can sure wrap you around his finger very easily. What a cutie! Congrats Lindsy. He’s adorable. We took this sweet little baby’s newborn pics when she was a week old I believe. We spent a good amount of time trying to get a cute picture of her and her older brother, but it was not in the cards I guess. Her’s still turned out great. Isn’t she such a sweetie? I worked with James on this newborn shoot, so it was a combined effort. He always brings a different style in to the mix. I’m sure he has his own favorites, but here are a few of my favorites from the newborn shoot.

Graham was a very active newborn for his shots. He definitely gave us a run for our money. Every time we would move him he would get furious and take a while to get calmed down. He definitely had his own opinion about what he wanted to be doing for the shoot – and it involved not being bothered. Luckily during his more calm sessions we were able to get some with his eyes closed and looking calm. Here are some of our favorite shots from the session.
